Man with stalking warrant arrested after reportedly following estranged wife to motel room early Sunday morning

On Sunday, January 29th, 2023, at 2:34 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported court order violation in progress at Days Inn, 185 N Tully Rd, Turlock, after a woman had seen her estranged husband who was restrained from her nearby and believed that he had followed her there.

When officers arrived on scene, they found and contacted Pablo Garcia, 50, of Livingston, who was by his vehicle parked near his wife’s room.

When officers had their dispatcher run Garcia, the order restraining him from her was confirmed and he was also found to have two bench warrants out of Livingston. The first one was a $50,000 felony one for stalking and violating a domestic violence protective order, while the second one was a $10,000 misdemeanor one for violating a domestic violence protective order.

Garcia was arrested and a search of his person incident to arrest led to the discovery of narcotics.

Garcia was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of violating a domestic violence protective order, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of methamphetamines.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
