Man arrested on four misdemeanor warrants during traffic stop early Sunday morning

On Sunday, February 5th, at 2023, at 12:30 am, a Turlock Police officer near Save Mart, 1631 Lander Ave, Turlock, observed a driver violating the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including driver Lonnie Butcher, 46, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Butcher, he discovered that he had four misdemeanor bench warrants. The first one was a $1,000 local one for driving with a suspended driver’s license, the second one was a $30,000 one out of Tuolumne County, the third one was a $30,000 one out of Tuolumne County, and the fourth one was a $20,000 one out of Tuolumne County.

Butcher was arrested and released on a citation on his warrants.
