Man arrested on meth sales warrant during burglary investigation Thursday afternoon

On Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, at 12:18 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported burglary in progress at a residence in the 600 block of W Minnesota Ave, Turlock, where a few subjects were attempting to break into the residence through the doors and windows.

When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with two subjects, including a man who was later identified as Timothy Lameira, 50, of Turlock.

When officers had their dispatcher run Lameira, they discovered that he had two bench warrants. The first one was a $50,500 felony one for possession of methamphetamines for sale, while the second one was a $5000 one for possession of methamphetamines.

It’s unknown what the original burglary claim was about, however, Lameira was not arrested on any fresh charges.

Lameira was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
