Man with three theft warrants arrested with meth and burglary tools during bicycle stop Friday night

On Friday, February 3rd, 2023, at 11:59 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the 500 block of Almond Ave, Turlock, observed a bicyclist violating the California Vehicle Code, so he made a bicycle stop on him.

The officer made contact with the bicyclist and immediately recognized him to be Devin Tillery, 29, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Tillery, he discovered that he had three $25,550 local misdemeanor bench warrants for theft.

Tillery was arrested and a subsequent search of his person incident to arrest led to the discovery of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, and burglary tools.

Tillery was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of burglary tools, as well as his warrants.
