On Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 1:38 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of W Hawkeye Ave and Dels Ln, Turlock, observed a driver doing a burnout in the roadway, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver, Angel Aragon, 19, of Turlock, and his four passengers, whose ages ranged from 15 through 19.

Additional officers arrived on scene and all five were removed from the vehicle.

Officers planned on impounding the vehicle due to Aragon’s reckless driving, so they conducted an inventory search of it. During the search, officers came across metal knuckles.

Aragon was arrested and released on a citation on charges of reckless driving and possession of metal knuckles. Additionally, his vehicle was impounded.

The juveniles were then released to the father of one of Aragon’s passengers. The adult teens also hitched a ride with him.
