Seven burglarize veterinary research business Friday night

On Friday, February 24th, 2023, at 10:45 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported commercial burglary in progress at Young Veterinary Research Services, 3000 Spengler Way, Turlock, after seven subjects had been seen making entry into the business through a live surveillance camera feed.

When officers arrived on scene, they found that the front glass door of the business had been shattered.

Officers entered the building and searched it for the seven subjects, however, found that they had already left.

Surveillance video was reviewed which showed the subjects arriving at the business in two separate vehicles at about 10:30 pm. The first vehicle was a dark-colored SUV or minivan, possibly a newer Ford Expedition, and the second was a light-colored sedan. The subjects then exited the two vehicles and forced entry into the building through the shattered glass door that officers had found. After only a short time of being inside, surveillance video showed the subjects exiting the building and fleeing in their respective vehicles.

If identified, all seven subjects face charges of burglary and conspiracy.

The investigation remains ongoing.
