Man arrested on parole violation and warrant after alleged robbery call Saturday evening

On Saturday, March 18th, 2023, at 6:17 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported robbery that had just occurred at Donnelley Park, 600 Pedras Rd, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they found and made contact with the suspect across the street. He identified himself as Adrian Lopez, 30, of Los Angeles.

When officers had their dispatcher run Lopez, they discovered that he was on parole for contempt of court and had a $2,000 misdemeanor bench warrant out of Modesto for trespassing.

During the course of the investigation, officers determined that no robbery had actually occurred, however, a violation of parole had.

Lopez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of violation of parole, as well as his warrant.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
