One injured after vehicle collision Saturday evening

On Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, at 6:15 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of E Olive Ave and N Center St, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. The first was a white 2016 Hyundai Elantra and the second was a gray 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. A power pole had also been struck.

A total of four people were involved, one of which suffered minor injuries. That person was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.

The white Elantra sustained moderate damage, while the gray Silverado sustained minor damage. Both vehicles were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.

It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred.
