On Monday, April 24th, 2023, at 10:24 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a security check at Donnelley Park, 600 Pedras Rd, Turlock, after a woman had called to report that she believed her ex-husband was drunk and that she had seen him stumbling around hitting his face against trees.

While officers were responding, they discovered that the man, Christopher Erbe, 42, of Turlock, had a no-bail misdemeanor bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for violating the rules or regulations of a work release program and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater.

When officers arrived on scene, they attempted to locate Erbe, however, were unable to.

The ex-wife was contacted again and she stated that she had also called Erbe’s mother, who she believed had picked him up and transported him back to his residence in the 1400 block of Countryside Dr.

Officers responded to Erbe’s residence, located him, and arrested him.

Erbe was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
