Parolee-at-large arrested after being recognized by officer Thursday afternoon

On Thursday, April 27th, 2023, at 3:38 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the Roger K. Fall Transit Center, 1418 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, recognized and got out with a parolee who he believed was wanted.

When the officer had his dispatcher run the parolee, Steven Black, 45, of Delhi, it was confirmed that he was a wanted parolee.

Black’s parole agent was contacted and he authorized that Black be placed on a hold while awaiting a parole revocation hearing.

Black was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of violation of parole.
