On Saturday, May 20th, 2023, at 2:24 am, a Turlock Police officer near The Venice Motel, 1114 N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a man driving a vehicle with expired registration, so he made a traffic stop on him.

The officer made contact with and identified the two occupants, who were both clear.

When the officer asked the driver if he was the vehicle’s owner, he stated that he was not and told the officer that the owner was Jeffrey Lambert, 40, of Turlock. When asked where Lambert was, the driver said in one of the motel rooms.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Lambert, he discovered that he had a $100,500 local felony bench warrant for obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person for an unlawful purpose.

The officer asked the driver if he could get Lambert to come out of his room so he could speak with him about his vehicle. The driver succeeded and once Lambert was positively identified, he was arrested.

Lambert was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
