Man arrested on two felony warrants after being recognized by officer early Sunday morning

On Sunday, May 28th, 2023, at 5:12 am, a Turlock Police officer near CosmoProf, 2311 W Main St, Turlock, got out with a suspicious person who he recognized.

The officer had his dispatcher run the man, Jimmy Spaulding, 29, of Turlock, and discovered that he had two $100,000 local misdemeanor bench warrants. The first was for assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, while the second was for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.

Spaulding was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
