Man Arrested on Felony Assault Warrant During Indecent Exposure Call

IMG_9231-1

At about 9:52pm on Tuesday, September 19, Turlock Police responded to an indecent exposure at Table 26 in the 2600 block of Geer Road, for a couple engaging in “relations” within plain view of other people.

When Officers arrived on scene, they contacted and identified the couple, including Joseph Boots, 43, of Turlock.

When Officers had their dispatcher run Boots, they discovered that he had a no-bail felony warrant for assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, and that he was on post release community supervision for the same charge.

Unfortunately, there were no victims of the indecent exposure that stuck around and wanted to sign a citizen’s arrest for anything, so nothing could be done about it. Boots’s partner admitted to the allegations, apologized, and stated that they would be more mindful of their surroundings in the future when participating in such acts.

Boots was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
