At about 7:20pm Monday night, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response responded to a security check at Turlock High School in the 1600 block of E. Canal Drive, for a man slumped over his steering wheel possibly not breathing.
When units arrived on scene, they found that the vehicle doors were locked so they forced entry, pulled the patient out of the vehicle, and immediately started CPR.
After about forty minutes, the patient still showed no signs of revival and was declared deceased.
A chaplain responded to the scene to provide emotional support to family, while a deputy coroner responded to take possession of the decedent’s body.
The cause of death is still unknown, however, foul play currently doesn’t appear to be a factor.
