Participants for the third year of Dancing With the Turlock Stars have been announced, and the competition is in full swing. Members of the community are set to compete alongside seasoned dancers in order to benefit local charities and organizations, Covenant Care Hospice, Jessica's House, and the Turlock Salvation Army.
With summer in full swing, local events are starting to kick off, and Embellish Salon is excited to share a special celebration with all of Turlock. Embellish Salon has been around since 2011, and they are inviting all Turlock residents for a fun summer street fair in front of the salon.

Children and adults alike have always been able to choose from a variety of fun features offered at the Stanislaus County Fair. With so many options already available at the local festivities, decisions may get a little tougher with 3 new activities being added to the list this year. The Stanislaus County Fair is introducing the interactive Gaming Expo, the spectacular High Diving Pirates of the Caribbean, and the adorably entertaining Pig Races to run for the duration of the fair.
Downtown Turlock craft store, Emporium, is opening their doors to everyone for a fun craft making class. For two hours, participants will learn to create their own patina initial for decor using Modern Master Metal Effects.
This year’s 4th of July in Turlock is going to be a blast with a full day of entertainment and festivities in Downtown Turlock, while the nighttime fireworks show will take place at the campus of California State University, Stanislaus!
