The soon to open Edible Arrangements, which is coming to the Blossom Valley Plaza at 2842 Geer Rd., is finally taking shape. Edible Arrangements now has a sign up and the inside has a counter built, nearly ready to open its doors.
As part of Google’s annual tradition of announcing many ridiculous new features or products for April Fools’ Day, Google Maps users can now play Pac-Man through the streets of nearly any town. While many may opt for the whackier designs of big cities, you can also play the classic game right through the streets of Downtown Turlock.
Turlock firefighters are seeking the help of any and all high school students in Turlock to design the 2015 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign t-shirt. Since 2012, Turlock Firefighters – Local #2423 have worn pink shirts during the month of October to help raise awareness and funds for fight against breast cancer. Throughout the whole month of October, Turlock firefighters wear and sell specially designed shirts.
The Easter Bunny has been making his way around Turlock and a local resident was able to take a photo of him.
Turlock Blossom Valley Plaza has recently received some new curb ramps throughout the shopping center. Curb ramps, or wheelchair access ramps, are typically necessary for sidewalks to be deemed compliant under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Emanuel Cancer Center has once again been granted a three-year accreditation by the Commission on Cancer of the American College Surgeons. As an accredited program, the Emanuel Cancer Center takes a multidisciplinary approach to treating cancer as a complex group of diseases that require consultation among surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and other cancer specialists. This multidisciplinary partnership results in improved patient care.
