Sew Creative Upholstery of Turlock is looking to hire experienced upholsterers or trimmers for the expanding business. According to a post on their Facebook, Sew Creative, located at 1400 Lander Ave., two full-time positions are available for those with the proper experience.
The new Bank of America ATM in the Valley View Center on Geer Road is now open. The ATM was installed in December to much excitement, as most Bank of America customers were required to go Downtown Turlock to visit an ATM.
Just in time for the warmer weather around Turlock, Round Table Pizza, located at 2650 Geer Road, remodeled their patio. Large cement planters used to surround the patio at Round Table, but those have been removed and replaced with a metal fence.
The traffic signals at the Fulkerth Road and Dianne Drive intersection are finally fully operational. The intersection has been under construction for several months while contractors realigned Dianne and Auto Mall drives.
Turlock City Council honored the 2014 CSU Stanislaus women’s soccer team for winning the NCAA Div. II West Region last year. The team, coaches, and staff were honored with a proclamation and were then joined by Council and U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) for a picture.
Donation bins of all sorts can be found in parking lots all around Turlock, and some even in more rural areas. Pictured is a donation bin located along Taylor Road at the intersection of Mountain View Road, next to the fruit stand. A little up the road, near the northbound Highway 99 onramp stands another donation bin.
