A banner still hangs for the 1 Stop Food & Liquor, although its location in the Park Villa Plaza is closed. The shopping center has been largely empty since opening, although recent additions of Bliss Salon & Spa and Snazzy Boutique gives the Park Villa Plaza its most tenants so far.

California State University, Stanislaus offers a number of athletics camps for several sports that provide the opportunity for athletes of all ages to develop their skills in a fun, sportsmanlike environment. Upcoming is the Warrior All Sport Camp for boys and girls ages 5 to 13, held April 6 through 10.
Turlock’s feathered friends are making their way from Donnelly Park and the California State University, Stanislaus campus to the surrounding neighborhoods. The ducks here were spotted taking up some parking spaces at the Lakeside Apartment Complex.
While not all areas of Turlock the best for bicyclists or pedestrians, some are perfect. The Joe Gallison Pathway, which runs along Canal Drive between E. Main Street and Daubenberger Road, is just one area that makes a great cycling or walking spot.
The Turlock Fire Department will be hosting another CPR training class in April and you’re encouraged to register now to ensure your spot. The training, which is hosted in cooperation with the American Safety Health Institute, will take place on April 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will focus on adult and child/infant CPR/AED.
