A small portion of sidewalk in front of the Big Bear Wash was torn out and replaced this week. The sidewalk was closed to pedestrians for several days, but now that the cement has dried, it has reopened.
Anyone looking for a slice of Latif’s famous apple pie recently has surely been disappointed as the restaurant closed its doors for repairs. Latif’s has been making repairs to the drain lines for the past couple of weeks. However, fear not, as Latif’s hopes to reopen on Saturday.

Sign-ups for the Spring Wood Bat League and Arm and Body Conditioning at the Backyard Sports Academy, as well as sign-ups Turlock Youth Cheerleading, are currently ongoing.
The lights were on at the Warrior’s Baseball Field Thursday night as baseball season is officially underway for California State University, Stanislaus. The Warriors (2-2) were swept by Fresno Pacific University (3-0) in a doubleheader Thursday, 3-1 and 7-1, respectively.
