Fifteen students from Pitman High School FFA and a handful of guests attended the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. While at the convention students attended breakout sessions, leadership workshops and a large Ag career and college expo.

Crews had traffic slowed on Soderquist Road between Fulkerth Road and Canal Drive with overnight work. Work was being done near the Soderquist Road entrance of the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds.
Downtown Turlock is already getting into the holiday spirit with banners now hanging up and down Main Street. Two events, the Festival of Lights and Christmas Parade on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5, respectively, will be held Downtown in the coming weeks.
