Last week, the City of Turlock, in partnership with the Turlock Unified School District, celebrated Go Green Week to help teach local students about the importance conservation and pollution prevention. Emanuel Offering Health Care Enrollment Assistance for Those Facing Tax Fees

Emanuel Medical Center will continue to offer information and assistance to the community during the health insurance special enrollment period for tax season, which runs until April 30. The Centers for Medicaid and Medicaid Services have provided this extended period to purchase health insurance for those who were unaware of the significant fee for not enrolling in 2015.

University ‘Bans’ Christian Organization for Religious Discrimination, Chi Alpha Seeking Reinstatement

Students from the Chi Alpha group at California State University, Stanislaus are challenging the University to allow the group back on campus after being banned for religious discrimination. Chi Alpha, which has been on the University campus for more than 40 years, originally lost its recognition by CSU Stanislaus at the start of the 2014 academic year for religious discrimination.
