Stanislaus County Library to Offer Free Music, Movies, and TV

Stanislaus County Library has announced that members can now access free music, movies, and television programs through Hoopla, an online digital media service. The library began offering downloadable audiobooks through Hoopla last fall. This expanded service will allow library member to stream music albums, movies and TV shows. Audiobooks may be streamed or downloaded. Members will be able to borrow up to six items per month through Hoopla.

University Police to Give Away Free Wheel Locks to Students

Students at California State University, Stanislaus can receive a steering wheel lock, or club, on Wednesday courtesy of the University Police Department. Wheel locks will be given away to students at the University Police Department’s booth, which will be in the quad from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
