Students at California State University, Stanislaus can receive a free steering wheel lock, or club, on Wednesday courtesy of the University Police Department.

Wheel locks will be given away to students at the University Police Department’s booth, which will be in the quad from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

To receive a free wheel lock, which are provided by the Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force (StanCATT), all students need to do is bring a copy of their vehicle registration or insurance.

The University Police Department especially recommends students driving the following vehicles — which are the top 10 most stolen vehicles — to stop by the booth:
1. Honda Accord
