Motorists traveling on Christoffersen Parkway should be advised that the new traffic signal at the Fosberg Road intersection is now active. The traffic signal was blinking red for a few days to prepare motorists of the change, but the signal is now fully active and motorists should be advised when driving through the area.
Turlock residents with a hankering for carnitas from Chipotle may be out of luck for a while, as the Turlock location is currently out due to a shortage. Several locations across the nation are suffering from the shortage of “Responsibly Raised” pork for their carnitas.
U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) announced the 2015 Central Valley Job Fair and Veterans Summit, to be held May 7. “This year’s job fair provides an opportunity for jobseekers to meet one-on-one with some of the Valley’s largest employers,” said Denham.
The City of Turlock is well known for its parks that cater to neighborhoods all around Turlock, but a neighborhood in North Turlock has a different kind of park. In the middle of Memory Lane and Ferreira Ranch Drive is a small park with a beautiful pergola-style area.
As is the case now with Turlock parks and public facilities, the Emanuel Cancer Center is a smoke free area. Signs stand at both entrances to the parking lot, as well as all around the center itself.
