On Friday, February 4th, 2022, at 5:47 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at Saint Francis Episcopal Church Office, 915 E Main St, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved, a white Ford pickup truck and a silver Toyota sedan.

The white Ford pickup truck was only occupied by its driver, who suffered minor injuries. He refused to be transported to the hospital and was picked up by his wife. The silver Toyota sedan was parked on the side of the road and unoccupied.

The white Ford pickup truck sustained moderate damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away. The silver Toyota sedan sustained minor damage and was left where it was parked.

Officers began investigating and determined that the driver of the white Ford pickup truck was traveling eastbound on E Main St from E Canal Dr, when for an unknown reason, it struck the rear left quarter panel of the silver Toyota sedan, veered to the left and went across the westbound lane, struck a tree and a pole that it knocked down, and came to final rest after striking some bushes and the church office. The church office sustained damage in the form of a pillar being knocked off its post and breaking a window.
