Turlock Fire Department responded to a fire at approximately 2:15 p.m. on the 800 block of North Denair Avenue.

Turlock firefighters are on scene and currently have blocked off a stretch of North Denair Avenue, between Canal Road and Starr Avenue.

Turlock Fire Chief Robert Talloni stated that the fire appears to have been knocked back, but that firefighters are still on scene checking for extension.

The fire is currently under investigation.
