On Thursday, August 11th, 2022, at 12:36 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported residential burglary in progress at a residence in the 500 block of Sunnyside Dr, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with three subjects, including Daniel Barbee, 30, of Modesto.

During the course of the investigation, officers determined that no burglary had occurred, however, when they had their dispatcher run Barbee, he returned with a felony $100,500 warrant for possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.

Barbee was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines and his warrant.
