Andrew Ybarra Obituary

Andrew Ybarra 1975-2022 It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to our beloved Andy on July 20, 2022, following his courageous battle with cancer. God blessed us with his arrival on December 29, 1975, at the Torrejon U.S. Air Force Base in Madrid Spain to Tim and Rose Ybarra. Andy leaves behind a large and loving family; his wife Yolanda, his parents Tim and Rose , brothers Tim Jr.(Angela), Gilbert ( Krystal), children Nathaniel , Valerie, Cesilie, Andrew, David, Jesse, Sofia, Garrett, Lenaya and Carmen, granddaughters; Ava, Neila, Neveah, Layah, Adelina , and Avianna, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of dear friends. The family finds comfort in knowing he has joined his beloved grandparents in heaven, Marcial Ybarra Sr., and Mike and Rosie Villalobos who were no doubt waiting with open arms. After leaving Spain, Andy lived in Los Angeles California, before spending most of his years in Merced and Modesto California, where he met his wife, Yolanda. They later built a life and home in Artesia, New Mexico where Andy quickly became a well known and loved community member. Andy enjoyed life and always brought and found joy wherever he was. His most treasured times were spent with his family and friends, whether it was camping, enjoying a Raiders or Warriors game, the peacefulness of fishing or just sitting listening to music and enjoying one another’s company. His smile was constant, and his laugh was unmistakable. Andy had a caring and selfless heart, always taking the time to reach out to others even during days when he was in pain. His desire for his wife, children, parents, and family to know he loved them, was of utmost importance to him. We feel your love, we see your smile and we hear your laugh sweet Andy. You fought the good fight. May you now rest in peace in God’s embrace, until we meet again. We love you. Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 5th, 2022, at 1:00, Allen Mortuary in Turlock California. Celebration of his life will take place at Yosemite Lake Fish & Game Building, Merced California 4:30 p.m.
