A man brandishing a handgun robbed Turlock's Cost Less Market on Wednesday, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery occurred at approximately 2:54 p.m., when the Turlock Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at Cost Less Market, located at 255 W. Main St.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, between 5'7” and 5'9” in height. The suspect is believed to weigh approximately 250 pounds, with a mustache and a goatee on the base of his chin.
He was last seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle, traveling from the Cost Less Market parking lot into a nearby neighborhood. Police were unable to locate the suspect following a search.
Turlock Police do not have photos of the suspect to release at this time, but expect to release pictures next week.
