You may have seen this sign or heard that Turlock is a "Tree City USA." And what is a Tree City USA?
For 22 years now, Turlock is one of 3,400 proud communities selected to be part of Tree City USA. To be designated a Tree City USA, certain standards must be met regarding urban forestry including maintaining a municipal code and spending at least $2 per capita on tree care.
