Many Turlockers spent their Memorial Day BBQing at one of the many parks around Turlock.
One park that tends to draw a large crowd on holidays is Curt Andre Park, named after the former Turlock mayor, located on North Kilroy Road next to Pitman High School.
Curt Andre Park may not have a full playground, only some swings, but most people come out to play in the sand volleyball pits.
