By Melissa De Leon/The Signal - This upcoming Fall term, five students will be selected by Associated Students Incorporated to receive a scholarship of $1000 each, about a third of a semester’s tuition. “This is the first ever that ASI is offering scholarships for our students,” ASI President Mariam Salameh said. Entitled the “ASI Giving Back Scholarship,” funds will come directly from ASI as a way of giving back to students in an area that supports academics more directly than their usual activities of advocacy.
