Turlock Sunrise Rotary and Noon Rotary are serving up delicious Blue Moon ice cream floats and Guinness floats at the Stanislaus County Fair. The Blue Moon float taste like an organsicle and is made with orange cream soda, vanilla ice cream, Blue Moon beer and a slice of orange for garnish.
Former Turlock Rotary President Don Gonsalves says that like many great ideas this one was copied and stolen. He says Fair CEO Chris Borovansky discovered the tasty treats at a baseball game on the East Coast last year and brought the idea to Turlock.
Swing on by the Turlock Rotary Beer & Wine Tent. Gonsalves says all proceeds go back into the community via student scholarships and projects.
