The Turlock Chamber of Commerce has provided financial help for local college-bound students interested in agriculture-related studies since 2001. Since then, the scholarship program has awarded approximately 207 scholarships worth over $151,000.

This year's winners were awarded at the Annual Ag Scholarship Luncheon on March 11 at the Turlock Turf Club, where they were joined by friends and family to celebrate their success. The luncheon also included an invocation by Bill Daly, and alumni guest speakers Trent Voss and Sean Locke.

The Chamber of Commerce scholarship program has also awarded $76,000 to the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds to promote public education in the area of agriculture and to help sponsor the 4-H Farmyard Experience.
