Charter Communication representatives have confirmed that there is DNS server trouble or some kind of an outage in our area.
After being on the phone about 7 times this morning (pressing 1 for English about 12 times) throughout the morning, a representative finally said there was DNS server problems.
The internet service problems consisted of off and on connection or randomly slow speeds. The representative confirmed the problem and said that the equipment was alright, but not before others were resetting the modem and telling me everything was alright.
So if anyone is having interrupted internet service, the only quoted estimated time of total restoration was about 3:00pm. Other Charter representatives didn’t have a time of restoration.
