Child injured after collision into parked vehicle Monday night

On Monday, March 6th, 2023, at 9:42 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Stanislaus State Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in front of a residence in the 3900 block of N Olive Ave, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found three vehicles involved. The first was a white 2018 Ford Fiesta, the second was a gray 2019 Ford F-150, and the third was a 2007 trailer that was attached to the gray F-150.

The white Fiesta had a total of three occupants, one of which suffered moderate injuries and two minor. At least one of the three was a child, however, two likely were. All three were ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital. The gray F-150 had been parked on the side of the road and was unoccupied.

The white Fiesta sustained major damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away. The gray F-150 and the trailer sustained moderate damage, however, were left where they were.

It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred, however, it was overheard that surveillance camera video captured it.
