Columbia Pool Opens June 13

City of Turlock

While splash parks can be fun for the kids, some Turlock residents may need something a bit more spacious for the family and for themselves. Soon, Turlockers will be able beat the heat at Columbia Pool.

The weather seems to be unforgiving in Turlock this month, and people are looking for ways to escape the heat this month.

According to Weather.com, the average temperature in June is around 90 degrees, but, recently, Turlockers have been feeling the heat. Projected forecasts have temperatures circling 100 degrees.

While the water features at Columbia Park and Broadway Park are fun for the kids, those looking for a more immersive way to cool down can soon soon take a dive or enjoy a relaxing swim in the cool waters of Columbia Pool.

There’s no need to register because fees are paid at the pool upon entering.

Pool goers 18 and over will be paying $2 and pool goers from 0-17 years of age will be paying the youth price of $1. However, children must be 8 years old to get in without an adult, and parents or guardians must accompany children.

On June 13, Turlockers can grab their swimsuits because Columbia Pool will be open to the community!

Even though the pool is closed on Fridays for maintenance, Columbia Pool will still be operational Monday through Thursday from 12:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Columbia Pool is located in Columbia Park, located at 600 Columbia Street in Turlock.
