Crafts, LEGOs at Turlock Library in December

The Turlock Public Library will be hosting fun, free events for the children, teens, and families during the month of December.

On Dec. 16, teens can enjoy a button maker craft at the Turlock Library at 4 p.m. Crafters will get the opportunity to design and press large and small button pins.

Participants can bring photos, use old magazines, or design original artwork to turn into unique buttons to place on backpacks and tote bags, or to turn into keychains.

Children and families can collaborate to make LEGO masterpieces at the library at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 30. All ages are welcome to participate, however children under the age of 4 must have direct parental supervision.

Finished LEGO creations will be displayed at the library.

LEGO programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Turlock Library.

The Turlock Public Library is located at 550 Minaret Ave. and is open Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Saturday. The library is closed on Fridays and Sunday.
