California State University, Stanislaus will be hosting the first Science Saturday of the school year this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Naraghi Hall of Science room N229. The topic this Saturday will be “Shhh! The Secret Life of Cells,” and students in grades sixth to eighth will explore the wonders of cell structures in plants and animals, examine microscopic life in pond water, extract DNA, make their own cell models and other activities.
