CSU Stanislaus to Host Three Commencement Ceremonies for the Class of 2015

Tomorrow morning, business and science undergraduate students will walk across the stage in the California State University, Stanislaus Amphitheater and step into the next chapter of their lives.

Over two days, CSU Stanislaus will host three commencement ceremonies to honor more than 2,500 students who are a part of the Class of 2015.

The undergraduates College of Business Administration and College of Science will walk in the first ceremony, which will take place at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Later that night, at 6 p.m., the doctorate, master’s, and credential students from all colleges will be honored.

Finally, undergraduate students from the College of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and College of Education, Kinesiology, and Social Work will have their commencement ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.

All three ceremonies will be held in the CSU Stanislaus Amphitheater, located on campus.

Tickets are not required for any of the commencement ceremonies and guest seating is first come, first serve, so guests should plan to arrive early for good seats.

There is no reserved general seating, and guests are respectfully requested not to save seats for others. Special seating will be provided for disabled individuals. However, due to limited space, disabled guests may be accompanied by only one non-disabled person in the disabled seating area.

Additionally, those who wish to avoid the sun and heat can watch a live broadcast of commencement in the Flora and Bernell Snider Recital Hall or in Demergasso-Bava Hall, rooms 166 and 167.

Webcasts will also be available online on the CSU Stanislaus website, for those who cannot make it to the ceremonies.

Parking will be free on campus during commencement, however guests should plan to arrive early, as the parking lots typically fill early.

Guests and students are encouraged to use the hashtag “#StanGrad” when posting photos to Instagram and Twitter and tweet photos to @CSUStan.

Motorists in the area should be advised of increased traffic before and after each commencement ceremony.

TurlockCityNews.com would like to congratulate the entire Class of 2015.
