Officers arrested two suspects with outstanding warrants on Monday night after responding to a disturbance in Turlock, including one who had allegedly robbed a 14-year-old.

Turlock police officers responded to the 2000 block of Nikki Ann Way at 8:02 p.m. Monday on the report of a disturbance.

Franco allegedly attempted to flee out the back door, but was apprehended by officers.

On May 21, a 14-year-old victim reported that he had been “playing ball” with his friends when Franco approached him. Franco allegedly said that the victim’s mother owed him money and demanded the victim pay Franco. Franco then allegedly ripped a chain off the victim’s neck and fled on his bicycle, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

Upon arriving to the scene of the disturbance, officers also contacted Albert Garcia, 26, who had a no bail warrant.

Franco was arrested and booked for robbery, child endangerment, and three felony warrants.

Garcia was arrested and booked for the no bail warrant.
