Domestic violence suspect spits on and threatens officers Saturday afternoon

On Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at 4:13 pm, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a reported assault and battery in progress at Boardwalk Apartments, 900 W Zeering Rd, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the suspect, Saviance Blunt, 31, of Stockton, and arrested him. During the arrest, he resisted officers, spat on them, and threatened them. He then had to be placed into a “The WRAP” restraint device for his ride up north.

Blunt was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety on charges of domestic violence inflicting corporal injury, resisting an executive officer with violence, threatening to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury to another person, committing a hate crime, battery against a peace officer or other public officer, battery, and obstructing or resisting a peace officer or other public officer.
