On Sunday, November 6th, 2022, at 1:09 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to reported shots fired in the 400 block of Pedras Rd, Turlock.
When officers arrived in the area and began searching, they located an unknown number of shell casings in the 1800 block of Donnelley Park Dr near the east entrance of Donnelley Park.
Officers spoke to a witness in the area who saw a red SUV slowly drive by and heard shots coming from the area that was in. A previous drive-by shooting had occurred on Tuesday, May 17th, near the intersection of Yale Ave and Georgetown Ave which involved a red GMC SUV belonging to a known gang member. It’s unclear at this point whether the two shootings are related.
Homes and vehicles in the area were checked and there were no signs that any of the bullets had struck them.
No injuries were reported.
