On Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, at approximately 12:30 am, a Turlock Police officer on patrol in the area of Grant Ave and Julien St attempted to make a traffic stop on a white Toyota Tundra that was driving at high rates of speed. When the officer activated his emergency lights, the driver of the vehicle failed to yield to him and a pursuit ensued.

The driver led the officer to the dirt road at W Simmons Rd and S Walnut Rd where the officer lost sight of him due to excessive dirt. Other officers saturated the area and one of them found the vehicle in the area of W Bradbury Rd and S Tegner Rd. That officer attempted to stop him however he failed to yield again. The driver then led officers to the area of S Golden State Blvd and Griffith Rd where he was lost yet again.

A perimeter was set up and a search of the area began. Officers searched the area for a decent amount of time but then gave up and broke down the perimeter. An outside agency attempted to contact the registered owner of the vehicle at his home but efforts were unsuccessful.
