A driver, allegedly under the influence, was arrested Thursday night after driving into Village Fresh Market.

The driver, Kathleen Hoskins, 44, drove into the Village Fresh Market, located at 2090 E. Canal Dr., at approximately 9:43 p.m.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb, Hoskins was backing out of a parking spot when she then drove forward into the store.

It is unknown if the driver caused any damage to the store, said Webb.

Officers found that Hoskins was allegedly under the influence of prescription drugs and was consequently arrested.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
