IMG_0868-1

At about 1:28am Saturday, Turlock Police Officer Roton made a traffic stop near Bernell Avenue and Lander Avenue.

Roton made contact with and identified the driver of the vehicle as Adrian Hernandez, 26, of Turlock.

While speaking with Hernandez, Roton noticed he was displaying objective symptoms of being under the influence, so he removed him from his vehicle to conduct a DUI investigation.

Roton asked Hernandez if he’d be willing to participate in standardized field sobriety tests, to which he agreed, but performed poorly on.

Hernandez was then asked if he’d blow into a preliminary alcohol screening device, which he also did.

Based on the totality of the circumstances, Roton determined that Hernandez was under the influence of alcohol and arrested him.

During a subsequent search of Hernandez’s vehicle, Roton found a Hennessy bottle.

Hernandez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Additionally, Hernandez was issued a driver’s license suspension order and his vehicle was impounded.
