On Friday, October 28th, 2022, at 11:50 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance in progress at La Cantina, 142 S First St, Turlock.

Officers arrived on scene and found that Victor Sanchez, 35, of Turlock, was obviously intoxicated and had just been pepper sprayed by a security guard after he had attempted to force his way into the business.

The Turlock Fire Department and American Medical Response responded and treated Sanchez on scene, however, he refused to be transported to the hospital.

Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of public intoxication.
