On Monday, October 24th, 2022, at 10:51 pm, the Turlock Fire Department and American Medical Response were dispatched to a medical aid at Avena Bella Apartments, 500 W Linwood Ave, Turlock, after a man believed to not be breathing had been found next to the swimming pool.

Crews arrived on scene, found that the patient was breathing, and began rendering aid to him. At that point, an altercation broke out and the Turlock Police Department was requested.

Officers arrived on scene and detained the patient, later identified as Nicholas Hernandez, 20, of Turlock, who was obviously intoxicated.

Officers began investigating and learned that earlier Hernandez had broken an apartment window, jumped on a vehicle, and broken its windows as well.

Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of vandalism.
