Duo Arrested for Burglary, Possession of Brass Knuckles

A pair of suspects are facing burglary and possession of brass knuckles charges, respectively, after allegedly stealing from Walmart on Nov. 1.

Turlock police responded to the Walmart at 2111 Fulkerth Rd. at approximately 3:04 p.m. on Saturday on the report of a commercial burglary.

Loss prevention had reported the incident after both subjects allegedly failed to comply, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

According to the Turlock Police Department, one subject, a 19-year-old male, allegedly entered the business with the intent to steal.

DVDs and a flashlight were stolen from the store, said Webb.

When contacted by loss prevention, the subjects allegedly refused to comply and fled the scene.

Officers located and contacted the two subjects at the intersection of Fulkerth Road and Golden State Boulevard, said Webb.

Derek Moore, 19, was arrested for burglary and Donald Moore, 35, was arrested for possession of metal brass knuckles.
