A pair of suspects were arrested after allegedly stealing from multiple stores in Monte Vista Crossings and getting into a stolen vehicle.

Two suspects were allegedly seen stealing merchandise by Kohl’s store security on Tuesday night, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Security reported the incident to the Turlock Police Department at approximately 7:31 p.m. and gave the license plate number of the vehicle the duo fled in.

Police found that the vehicle the two suspects had fled in had been reported stolen out of Stockton, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The suspects however did not get far, as they parked a short ways away and entered the new Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store, said Lewis.

Officers were already en route to the area and set up a perimeter upon arrival.

Turlock police contacted and detained the two suspects after they had allegedly stolen from Jo-Ann’s.

Sean Jordan, 25, who had been seen driving the alleged stolen vehicle, was arrested for auto burglary, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Luis Figueroa Chavez, 31, was allegedly found to be in possession of a dirk or dagger. He was arrested for shoplifting, receiving stolen property, and possession of a dirk/dagger.
